Choosing the right car insurance can be confusing, but understanding your coverage doesn't have to be. That's why we're breaking down everything you need to know about our Excess free windscreen cover option.
What is Excess free windscreen cover?
Excess free windscreen cover is an optional extra you can add to your Everyday Car Insurance policy for an additional premium. This optional extra is available for Comprehensive, Drive Less Pay Less and Third Party Fire & Theft policies.
Important note: Excess free windscreen cover is not available for Third Party Property Damage policies.
How does Excess free windscreen cover work?
If you have this optional extra on your policy and you experience your first instance of windscreen damage, we'll pay the cost of replacing or repairing the front windscreen of your car if it is accidentally broken or damaged. We will not apply the agreed excess(es) (set out in your Certificate of Insurance) to the first front windscreen claim made in any one period of insurance.
